Shimmer Shimmer

Working hard. Making new friends. Taking an on line Specialization on Education course. Tutoring many people.
Making ends meet. Dreaming of a nice trip to change the busy routine, just to see some new beautiful faraway land...having fun with old friends. Winter is back again here in São Paulo, on a chilly gloomy day, the ones that are so characteristic of this mega city.
Life is good. The invisible woman shows a glimpse of her golden hair...she is staring to appear again. The shimmering sound of her presence fills the air with perfume...oh, it is  Angel.

She wants to go out and party tonight...I little live music, a little dancing...with a beautiful dress, of course!
Dressed to kill!

My micro child

Micro is sleeping on my bed. I guess he forgave for this morning's scolding: he spilled all his water on the kitchen floor.
You might think that cats do not understand, but, oh yes, they do...
Just like a child...
The other day he threw all the sofa pillows on the floor, just for fun....
Of course I am the "bad cop"and my son is the "good cop".
I get to be the bossy mom.
Again
I really didn't think I was getting another child!

Miau

Micro
New member of the family, chosen by my son....cute cat, gray and white,  likes to follow us around the apartment.
Clean, always hungry, vivacious and friendly. Loves to sleep on our beds.
Not during the night, of course...not allowed due to family allergies...
Life is good when you have a pet.
I feel less invisible now...He can see me.
Summertime. Yesterday was 35 degrees Celcius, today we are down to 20C...which is pretty nice but I wonder if that Armagedon type movie where Global Warming plays a deadly role isn't kind of accurate...
It has been raining 3 hours per day in São Paulo for roughtly the last two months...hum...clean up day in heaven, maybe...My soul feels clean but my mind...is partially cloudy...

Maid me Crazy

Birthday boy is having a party at Playland today. Video games and Burger King or some other fast food.
Spoke to Sandra, his teacher and he has been approved to the 3rd grade...his only flaws being some difficulty in sitting down and stop chatting with his friends during the lesson. Bad handwriting runs in the family  and makes the teacher's go bananas.
The maid went back to Bahia and left the ship. The invisible woman has to teach, clean, cook and translate at the same time. Crazy it is to try to juggle so many roles that you are supposed to have without complaint, of course.
It has happened so many times that it has become default, some kind of Christmas Holiday Celebration. Everything is where it should be. The book is on the table. The cat is on the roof. The boy is eight years old and I am so proud!

They went dancing last night. The Limelight was busting with activity on a holiday weekend. Kel, Fe,Mel and Mars celebrating life itself. Of course, it was difficult to move around in the bursting activity, maybe 2000 people.
The music was perfect- 70's and 80's mostly....and after two a.m 90's and so on.
Mel meet foot guy. She had sprained her ankle and received a foot massage. The title of the most beautiful foot in the night was well received. At least it doesn't hurt so much anymore.
Ready for more dancing, Mel joins her group back again. Foot guy goes away. Step by step.
